My Food Allergy Story

Food Allergy Culprits # 2,3,4,5,6,7,8: Baker’s yeast, beef, milk, liquorice, peanuts, soy and tomatoes

Other foods in the “Mild Intolerance” column included almonds, basil, celery, cocoa, corn, cranberry, egg whites, grapes, oranges, pork, rice, tuna and white potato. All of these foods I had consumed from time to time and I never thought about them being the source of my discomfort. Over the years I had made white rice a staple in my diet and all along it was actually on of the culprits? I couldn’t believe it. I also used to cook with a lot of basil and white potatoes were a major source of my carbohydrates. I never would have thought that something as plain as a white potato could make me feel sick. Amazing!

So what can I eat?
Well it’s actually a bigger list than you would think. The foods that the test listed that posed no intolerance in my body included chicken and turkey, just about all fish other than tuna and scallops, all kinds of fruits vegetables other than grapes, oranges, cranberries, corn and potatoes and a long list of oils, spices and nuts. I guess it wasn’t going to be that bad after all. Yes I did confirm that my body would not tolerate milk, cheese, eggs, beef, tomatoes, peanuts, potatoes etc. But, I guess this is a small sacrifice to lead a normal life and not allow the food I consume rule what I do and when I do it. So I cut out all the offending foods immediately and began trying to balance out my diet and lead a healthy life again. I literally began experiencing results from day one and I was amazed! It was that easy. These are the foods your body can’t handle, stop eating them and you will be fine. It was that easy. All those years or agony and all I had to do was stop eating these foods? I wish I woke up years ago and did something, I could have done so much more over the years in terms of recreation
